JAR Enterprises invests in real estate in the area. They own five rental units that they’ve partnered with us to manage.

Challenge:

JAR Enterprises was working with another property management company but felt that there were problems with accounting, filling units, and keeping up with maintenance. When you can’t be sure that your books are right, or your units are sitting empty for months and months at a time, it’s not exactly the best use of your investment. We’ve partnered with JAR Enterprises for several years now—since 2010. We’ve been able to turn their accounting around. In fact, they have their bookkeeper double check the numbers after having so much trouble with the last PM company, and they have never found a discrepancy.

In addition to accounting services, we also do maintenance and repair work on their units to keep them in great shape—with tenants or without. Timely repairs are what they really appreciate most about our team. Our client said, “When we escalate things to REM management team they are very responsive, even on weekends!” The water heater at one of their units broke on New Year’s Eve, and our team was in touch immediately and replaced it the very next day.
